About The Travelbook

Many people travel while they are young. Not just holidays but long road trips, backpacking, hiking and trekking across various locations.

With all the free time and limited responsibility many have during those years you can’t blame them for wanting to explore and do a bit of soul searching. The prospect of travelling has always excited me, I could spend hours talking to my friends about how I want to get out of England and migrate to Australia or the US either to work or to just experience a new culture for a while.

Equally I could spend a lot of time looking at different sites to see what kinds of trips I could book, sadly I don’t have the courage to do such a trip alone and I don’t think my closest friends have the same ambitions or finances to try such a thing, or they’ve already done it and don’t need to go again.

So if you’re more of a dreamer than a doer then stick around as I’ll be posting about various travel locations, some are common while others you may find unusual.

There will also be interviews with some of those who went away, they will be telling us what they got up to as well as hearing from those whose departures are imminent as their tickets have been booked and cleared for take off.
